Leeds United arrive in Spain

Whites begin training camp abroad.

Leeds United players and staff have arrived in Spain for a training camp over the next week, which will see them prepare for the restart of the Premier League season after Christmas.

The Whites will face La Liga side Elche CF whilst away, at the Estadio Manuel Martinez Valero, with kick-off set for 7:15pm (UK time) on Thursday 8th December 2022.

Leeds United supporters will be housed in the AFICIÓN VISITANTE section. Tickets are priced at €25 and can still be purchased online, HERE.

Whilst the majority of Jesse Marsch’s squad have arrived and are now training, some players have not travelled for the camp.

Patrick Bamford is currently in Munich having minor surgery on a groin injury. He’s expected to return to action and be available within two weeks.

Junior Firpo has remained at Thorp Arch having picked up a groin strain, but he will join up with the squad later in the week.

Illan Meslier and Kristoffer Klaesson haven’t travelled to Spain either, with both of them currently out of action due to having viral illnesses.

Supporters can expect to see regular updates across all of our communication channels over the coming days, from our training camp.
