Leeds United defender in squad to face Switzerland and Portugal

Luis Enrique announced his latest Spain squad whilst cycling through the Sierra de Madrid on Friday morning, with Leeds United defender Diego Llorente one of those named.

Spain face a double header this month, as they welcome Switzerland to La Romareda, the home of Real Zaragoza, on Saturday 24th September.

One point currently separates Luis Enrique's men and Portugal in their Nations League group, with the final group game on Tuesday 27th September, likely to be the decider as to who tops League A Group 2.

Diego Llorente will be hoping to add to his 10 caps for Spain, having made his last appearance for La Roja in June, the 1-0 win over Switzerland.

The centre-back has played every minute of Leeds' Premier League campaign so far, with the club currently sat in ninth place.
