Rasmus Kristensen has agreed to join Leeds United on a five-year-deal, becoming the club’s second confirmed arrival of the summer transfer window.

1- Rasmus Kristensen was born in Brande, Denmark on 11th July 1997


2- Kristensen made his professional debut for FC Midtjylland against FC Nordsjaelland on 7th March 2016


3- Seven days later, Kristensen made his first start against Hobro IK and marked the occasion with his first professional goal in a 3-0 victory


4- On 23rd January 2018 the full-back completed a transfer to Dutch side Ajax for an undisclosed fee


5- Kristensen’s first honour came when Midtjylland were crowned Danish champions at the end of the 2017/18 season, with the full-back having made 17 appearances for the club prior to his move to Ajax


6- On 5th May 2019 scored in the KNVB Cup Final against Willem II, helping Ajax to a 4-0 victory, securing a league and cup double


7- Kristensen agreed to join Red Bull Salzburg from Ajax on 23rd July 2019, linking up with Jesse Marsch who was head coach of the club at the time


8- On 4th September 2021 Kristensen made his international debut for Denmark, helping them beat the Faroe Islands 1-0


9- Kristensen ended the last campaign with Red Bull Salzburg, having helped the club win three successive Austrian league and cup doubles


10- On 8th June 2022 it was announced Kristensen agreed to join Leeds United, in a deal which will be completed on July 1st 2022
