Team news: Final selection for 2021/22

One change made at Brentford Community Stadium.

Leeds United face Brentford in the final clash of the 2021/22 Premier League season at the Brentford Community Stadium this afternoon.

Jesse Marsch has made just one change to the starting XI, with Sam Greenwood making his first Premier League start, replacing Mateusz Klich - who features on the bench.

Our captain Liam Cooper is joined in the defence by Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Junior Firpo, with goalkeeper Illan Meslier in net.

Greenwood joins Kalvin Phillips in the middle of the pitch, with Rodrigo, Jack Harrison, Raphinha and Joe Gelhardt in attack for the Whites.

Klich is accompanied by Tyler Roberts on our substitutes bench today, having recovered from his recent injury, along with Pascal Struijk, Lewis Bate, Leo Hjelde, Charlie Cresswell, Jamie Shackleton and Archie Gray.

Patrick Bamford has been unable to travel with the team after testing positive for COVID-19 and being unwell. Adam Forshaw, Stuart Dallas, Crysencio Summerville, Dan James and Luke Ayling all remain out of the side.

The game is scheduled to kick-off at 4pm, and is being shown live on Sky Sports. As always, for those not in attendance or without access to Sky you can follow the live Leeds United blog online, here.
