Team news: Marcelo makes two changes for Liverpool clash

Starting XI announced at Anfield.

Marcelo Bielsa has had to make two changes this evening as we face Liverpool in the Premier League away from home.

Junior Firpo and Raphinha both make the starting line-up tonight, replacing Diego Llorente and Robin Koch – who is following concussion protocols after our fixture against Manchester United.

Illan Meslier is between the posts for the clash, with our captain Luke Ayling joined in defence by Firpo, Pascal Struijk and Stuart Dallas.

Mateusz Klich and Adam Forshaw will sit in the midfield, as Jack Harrison, Rodrigo, and Dan James feature alongside Raphinha in the attacking positions for Leeds.

Goalkeeper Kristoffer Klaesson is joined on tonight’s substitutes bench by Jamie Shackleton, Tyler Roberts, Joe Gelhardt, Charlie Cresswell, Lewis Bate, Crysencio Summerville, Liam McCarron and Nohan Kenneh.

Kalvin Phillips, Patrick Bamford, Liam Cooper, Leo Hjelde and Robin Koch all miss out this evening, as they recover from recent and longer-term injuries.

Tonight’s match is scheduled to kick-off at 7.45pm and for those supporters not in attendance at Anfield, you can follow the live Leeds United blog here.
