United manager Brian McDermott will be without the services of striker Matt Smith once again on Saturday as he serves his final match ban.

The suspended Smith is the only player not available for selection for Huddersfield's visit as the United boss has no new injury concerns.

The manager remains to be without the injured David Norris (knee) and Jamie Ashdown (foot) and the game may come to soon for striker Noel Hunt, who has now returned to full training.

Huddersfield Town have their own injury problems ahead of the Yorkshire derby with James Vaughan (knee), Joel Lynch (groin), Jonathan Hogg (hip), Adam Hammill (knee) and Martin Paterson (thigh) all struggling to make the trip to Elland Road.
