Adam Forshaw: I’m loving every minute

Midfielder on Brentford.

Leeds United midfielder Adam Forshaw spoke to the media ahead of Sunday’s Premier League clash with Brentford.

The Whites are back at Elland Road, looking to back up Tuesday’s victory over Crystal Palace.

Forshaw has returned from long-term injury and started the last four matches, producing some very impressive performances and he spoke about what it is like to be back, along with coming up against his former side Brentford.

“I’m loving every minute,” said Foshaw.

“I’m back in the Premier League after four or five years and I can’t wait for each game.

“I’ve had no issues in a long time now and I’ve put a string of games together and I feel great.

“I loved my time at Brentford, we got a promotion in the second season, I played under some great managers there and made some great friends who are still there.

“It set me up really well for the rest of my career and it was probably the best decision I ever made, leaving Everton to go there.

“I’m sure Sunday will be a game of high energy, it will be free flowing.

“They will think they will be able to match us in terms of our intensity.

“They try and play a nice style of football and they’re exciting, we like to think we are too, so it bodes for a good game.

“After winning on Tuesday, all of our momentum and focus is on Sunday.”
