Liam Cooper named in Scotland squad

Captain included in squad to face Moldova and Denmark

Leeds United defender Liam Cooper has been named in Steve Clarke's latest Scotland squad, for their World Cup Qualifiers against Moldova and Denmark.

Scotland go into the last two qualifiers knowing a win in Moldova will be enough to secure Scotland’s place in the World Cup play-offs which would take place in March.

Cooper has played and captained every minute of the Premier League so far this season, most recently featuring in Leeds' 2-1 win over Norwich City.

The skipper will be hoping to add to his 11 caps for the Tartan Army, having come off the bench against the Faroe Islands and Israel last month.
