Winger in line to face Chile, Argentina and Peru
Leeds United winger Raphinha has been named in Tite's latest Brazil squad for their upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chile, Argentina and Peru.
Having joined from Rennes last summer, Raphinha made an instant impact, featuring 30 times in the Premier League for the Whites, scoring 6 goals and providing 8 assists.
Raphinha becomes the second Leeds United player in history to be named in Brazil's national squad, following in the footsteps of World Cup winner Roque Junior.
Having fell at the last hurdle in last month's Copa America, losing 1-0 to perennial rivals Argentina, Tite's side will head to the Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos in Santiago to face Chile on Friday 3rd September.
Two days later, they'll take on Argentina once more at the world famous Maracana Stadium, before hosting Peru on Friday 10th September.
The Brazil call-up for Raphinha is his first at any age level, and will see him join up with a squad including Neymar (PSG), Casemiro (Real Madrid) and fellow Premier League stars, Ederson (Man City), Richarlison (Everton) and Thiago Silva (Chelsea).
