Jack Harrison: We\'ll be looking to improve on all aspects from today

Leeds United winger discusses today's defeat at the Amex

Jack Harrison gave his thoughts to the media after his Leeds United side fell to a 2-0 defeat away to Brighton.

The hosts scored their first in the 14th minute when Pascal Gross stepped up to convert a penalty, before Danny Welbeck doubled the lead in the 79th minute at the Amex Stadium.

"It's a disappointing result, we've prepared so much all week to face them and the different formations that they could play." said Harrison after the loss.

"We found it difficult playing against their three centre backs and they made it difficult for us to create chances as well, which is unlike us. So yeah, it's very frustrating not to come away with the result.

"Our pressing against their three central defenders could have been better, but at the same time they made it really difficult for us to play, so you have to give credit to them and the way they played."

After a six game unbeaten run, which included wins against Manchester City, Fulham and Sheffield United and draws against Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United, Harrison was asked if facing Brighton meant subconsciously they approached the game in a different way.

"We always try to approach every game the same. We work very hard throughout the week and try to prepare as much as we can, so I think it's unfair to say that.

"It's just frustrating coming here after getting a good few points and the last month to not come away with more. It's something we're going to review, next week, we'll be looking to improve on all the aspects from today."

With the media ramping up talk of Europe before the game, Harrison was asked whether this was a reminder that Leeds are still a newly promoted side, on course for a fantastic first season.

"We're an ambitious team, we're always pushing to break our limits and the European places are something we're definitely looking forward to.

"It's difficult, we've had a great season so far and it's easy to get caught up in everything. We're not finished yet and we're going to keep fighting until the end and see how well we can do."
