Pascal Struijk: I’ve been enjoying every game I play

Defender chats before Friday’s trip to Fulham.

Pascal Struijk has spoken exclusively with LUTV, ahead of the trip to West London.

The Whites visit Craven Cottage to face a resurgent Fulham, who are looking to climb their way out of the relegation zone.

Struijk is well aware of the challenges his side will face when kick-off arrives.

“It will be a tough game,” he stated.

“I think they play good football considering the position they are at. It’s the same as every other game, to know in your mind it is good for us to win this game.

“Every game we go out 100% and work our hardest to get three points, thinking we can win against every team.”

The defender has made 18 appearances in the Premier League so far. His contributions have been positive and the 21-year-old wants to keep improving under Marcelo Bielsa.

“I really achieved more than I was expecting at the start of the season,” Struijk explained.

“I thought I would play three games maybe and play some minutes as a sub, so I have achieved everything I wanted to this season and now I am looking at what more I can do.

“To try and stay in the team is everyone’s goal, to try and play every minute I can play. When I do get the chance to play I am trying to take it.

“I’ve been enjoying every game I play, it is my dream to play in the Premier League.”
