Full-back on upcoming matches.
Gjanni Alioski has spoken exclusively with LUTV, looking ahead to the second half of the Premier League campaign.
Tuesday night will see 28-year-old and his teammates travel to face Newcastle United, an outfit they comfortably defeated earlier in the season.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have lost their last two Premier League matches, but Alioski praised the mentality of the club as they look to get back to winning ways.
“I think we’re a team that are hungry to get a good performance and to get wins,” he explained.
“When we lose, we’re always disappointed because we know what we can do.
“What is good in the team here and with the staff, everybody around this team and the club, we don’t give up.
“We know we have other games, we can change something for the next games and we are going to try the best to get the results.
“We were disappointed [with the loss to Brighton], but we have 10 days to work on it. We always give our maximum for the next game and we are focused.”
The Whites are currently 12th in table, with 23 points from their opening 18 matches. Alioski gave his thoughts on the season so far.
He said: “I think it has gone quick!
“Already it’s the halfway point and we’ve played nearly every team and now we start the second half of the season.
“We’re looking forward. We want to change any bad results we had in the first half, in the second half of the season.
“We have now got experience, we know the teams, we have a little more experience in the Premier League.
“We know we can be really strong, we can do something in this league. It will be an interesting second half of the season.
“We will be 100 percent fighting to get positives results. It won’t be easy to beat our first half of the season, but we have the quality to do it.”
