Marcelo Bielsa nominated for Best FIFA Men’s Coach

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has been included in the five-person shortlist for The Best FIFA Men’s Coach 2020 Award.

Based on respective achievements during the period between 20 July 2019 to 7 October 2020, the shortlist was compiled by a panel of experts in men’s football.

Bielsa made history at Leeds United last season, by guiding the Whites back to the Premier League for the first time in 16 years.

He led Leeds to the Sky Bet Championship title, winning the league by 10 points and becoming champions of the second tier for the fourth time since the club’s foundation.

Since arriving at Elland Road in the summer of 2018, Bielsa has transformed the club’s fortunes on the pitch, with the style of football implemented during his tenure earning global praise.

Voting to decide the winner is equally weighted between fans, journalists, national team coaches and captains.  You can vote now by CLICKING HERE.

The three finalists for each award will be revealed at a later date, with all award winners revealed at The Best FIFA Football Awards ceremony in Zurich on 17 December 2020.
