Mateusz Klich: I can’t wait to come back

Midfielder reflects on Crystal Palace defeat.

Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich is looking forward to trying to help the Whites bounce back after the international break.

The Whites lost back-to-back games ahead of players linking up with their respective countries, with Leeds returning to action against Arsenal on Sunday 22nd November.

The Poland international gave his verdict on Saturday’s loss at Crystal Palace and is determined to secure Leeds further points ahead of the festive period.

“It’s not nice to lose a game, especially 4-1,” said Klich.

“When we lost against Leicester they were a better side, but against Crystal Palace we played ok, we lost two goals at set-pieces and one was a deflection, but as always you feel bad when you lose a game.

“We’ve got 10 points, I know a lot of people got carried away after a couple of games, but our goal is to stay in the league with our style, we play good football but need more points.

“There are no easy games, we drew against Manchester City and lost against Crystal Palace 4-1, it’s a difficult league, anyone can win against anyone.

“We are going to fight for points though, it doesn’t matter who we are playing and I can’t wait to come back from the national team and get going again because I want to win.”
