Leeds United pick up LMA Performance of the Week Award

Awarded for the 3-0 win over Aston Villa

The League Managers Association’s panel, comprising LMA Chairman Howard Wilkinson, Sir Alex Ferguson, Joe Royle, Dave Bassett, Barry Fry Paul Ince and Rachel Yankey, has determined that the LMA Performance of the Week Award should go to Leeds United for our 3-0 victory against Aston Villa on Friday 23rd October 2020.

The experienced and highly distinguished panel has managed a combined total of over 6,500 competitive matches in professional football.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa will receive a celebratory bottle of champagne, courtesy of Tanners Wines, and an LG Performance of the Week trophy to commemorate the result.

The 3-0 win saw Patrick Bamford score his first Premier League hat-trick as the side produced a superb performance at Villa Park, to end Aston Villa’s winning start to the season.
