Leeds United winger Jack Harrison spoke to LUTV after rejoining the club on a season-long loan deal from fellow Premier League side Manchester City.

Harrison joins the club for a third straight season, having played every game as Leeds won promotion to the top-flight during the last campaign.

The 23-year-old winger is pleased to be returning to Elland Road to continue his journey with the Whites.

“It’s a great opportunity to come back to a great club where I have been settled for the past two years,” said Harrison.

“Playing in the Premier League has always been a dream of mine and to be doing that with Leeds in an amazing opportunity.

“This is a great club to be a part of, I’ve developed a lot in the last two years, and I’ve learnt a lot working under Marcelo and with this great group of lads.

“My game has become more well-rounded, finding different ways to improve my game has been crucial to my development and now I’m happy to be back playing at one of the highest levels.

“As a group of lads we’ve all worked so hard to get to the point we are at now.

“You can see how much the achievement means to everybody at the club, the team, the coaching staff and the fans.

“It really jumped out at me with how passionate everyone was at getting back to the Premier League and now we have achieved that goal, we have to set ourselves new goals and hopefully achieve them.

“We’ll be in the best shape of our lives and prepared to play any game, it sets us up for success and it is up to us to take the opportunity and make the most of it.”
