Seven games to go, 21 points still up for grabs and Marcelo Bielsa's side find themselves top with an 8 point advantage over third place.

Fans have been bouncing since the 3-0 win against Fulham on Saturday, but with another big game on Tuesday, club captain Liam Cooper spoke to TalkSport's Jim White on why the squad is not taking anything for granted.

"Over the course of the season you go through every single emotion, that's what football does to us, and that's why we love it.

"We've put ourselves in a really good position but anything can happen. We all know the Championship, we all know there's no given, we've just got to concentrate on ourselves and the rest will take care of itself.

"We've got a massive game at home to Luton tomorrow night, they're fighting for their lives, as is everyone at this time of the season, and we've got to be prepared for that. Luton are a strong team, they've got a new manager and they're in good form.

"The message to the lads has been, I know it's cliche, but it's just to approach it game by game. We're lucky we've got a great bunch of lads, they're a fairly young group, they're hungry, they want to develop and they want to do this.

"They make it easier for me as a captain, they're determined to put last year right and hopefully we can do that, we've just got to be on it for every single game, every single minute now."

The club's fantastic support continues to make it's presence felt on a matchday, whether it be the 15,000 Crowdies watching, tuning into LUTV or engaging through social media.

Whilst hopefully temporary, the captain explains that he and the players are still missing the famous roar of Elland Road.

"It's strange, I think everyone will admit at the moment that it's not football, the fans are everything, especially ours.

"It's sad to see but it is what it is. It's the way it's got to be, we need to go about things in a safe manner. As a team, we've got to be professional and approach it the same way we would if the fans were in the stadium."

During the break, the club mourned the loss of Leeds United legends Norman Hunter and Trevor Cherry, and Cooper discussed how this has and will be used as extra motivation going into the final run of games.

"100% it hit the club very hard. They were two great men and two legends of the club. They're always in the back of our minds, and if we do manage to get over the line, it'll definitely be for those two. I know they, and everyone else who has passed, will be watching down on us."
