Marcelo Bielsa: I remember the previous match was tough

Head coach on Huddersfield.

The Whites host the Terriers as Bielsa's side look for a fifth consecutive win in the division, having recently created a five point cushion in the race for automatic promotion.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town.

Bielsa started by giving team news and spoke about the improvement of Danny Cowley’s Huddersfield team, who sit four points above the relegation zone.

“Jean-Kevin Augustin is not ready yet, it is going to be the same group of the last match,” said Bielsa.

“The most important analysis is that we have to win the next match, we don’t analyse past the next match.

“As always we always try to do our best to resolve the next match.

“I think that before January the new manager (Danny Cowley) was getting to know his team, and since then they have played like the new manager wants them to.

“They are a creative team, the midfielders think offensively, the two wingers and centre forwards are good players.

“I remember the previous match was tough, it was difficult to play well.

“They created chances in this match and we couldn't make big differences against them.

“I think they are a better team now than in the first match we played against them, so it will be tough.”
