Pablo Hernandez: The most important thing is to take the three points

Midfielder on Reading win.

Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez spoke to the media following Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship win over Reading.

Hernandez’s 57th minute strike secured Leeds back to back wins at Elland Road, as the Royals were dispatched by a goal to nil.

The former Spain midfielder was delighted his goal was enough to secure the Whites all three points, moving Leeds five points clear of third placed Fulham in the division.

“It was a difficult game, but we played a good game,” said Hernandez

“We had a lot of chances, but it doesn’t matter if it is one-nil or three-nil, the most important thing is to take the three points which is very important to us,” said Hernandez.

“I had two or three chances to score in the first half but my shots were blocked.

“We knew if we continued with the same ideas and same football we would have more chances in the second half and I managed to score in the first minutes and this goal gave us confidence and most importantly the three points.

“We are winning games and the feeling is good, the atmosphere is unbelievable and I think this is the way.

“In the next two months we have difficult games, but if we continue in this way, we can win every game.”
