Leeds United defender Luke Ayling spoke to LUTV following Saturday’s defeat at Nottingham Forest.

The Whites suffered back to back defeats in the Sky Bet Championship as the Reds ran out 2-0 winners at the City Ground.

Ayling gave his assessment of the game and insisted the side will keep fighting following a difficult run of results.

“We were way off it today,” said Ayling.

“The first goal was massive, I thought we started the game okay, but we haven’t scored the first goal in a long time now and it changes the game.

“I think everyone can see we played some nice football up until a certain point, but we didn’t really make any clear cut chances for ourselves, which is a problem.

“We will keep working hard and trying our best and hopefully things will turn and we can get some for back.

“Now we’re back on equal points with the other teams, we’ve got a certain amount of games to outscore the other teams and we have to start again now.”
