Marcelo Bielsa: Matches like this are hard

Head coach on Millwall.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Millwall.

The Whites are looking for back to back victories at The Den, following Tuesday’s win against West Bromwich Albion at Elland Road.

Leeds lost Liam Cooper and Jamie Shackleton to injury and Bielsa will be forced to shuffle his pack in London.

“Cooper is injured but not going to be longer than six weeks,” said Bielsa.

“We have inside the group Gaetano Berardi, Leif Davis, Kalvin Phillips, Pascal Struijk and Oliver Casey, a lot of players who we have been working with for a long time.

“Casey and Struiijk are younger, Davis has played with us, Phillips is an option and of course Berardi was the direct substitution.

“Pablo Hernandez is better, but he and Adam Forshaw are not going to be part of the group on Saturday.

“We are probably going to play Ayling instead of Dallas and Dallas instead of Shackleton.  The other option is Klich in the place of Shackleton and Roberts in the place of Klich.

Bielsa also spoke about what he is expecting from Millwall and visiting The Den.

He said: “It is going to be a very difficult and tough match.

“As you see in every match, even if there is more or less quality between the opponent, matches like this are hard in the Championship.

“In every stadium you have a different atmosphere, but it is not this fact which allows you to win or lose a match.”
