Former strikers showcase charity challenge...
Our former strike duo Rob Hulse and Richard Cresswell are both at Elland Road on Saturday ahead of what promises to be one of the biggest challenges of their sporting careers.
Rob, who scored a hat-trick the last time we beat Derby County, and Richard are part of the LUFC Channel Row team and will be attending to create awareness about their summer challenge. They will be outside the Members Pavilion so please pop round, say hello, and show your support for a great cause.
The team, which includes club physio Harvey Sharman, will be rowing the English Channel from Nuiport in Belgium to Ramsgate on June 8, in memory of our conditioning coach, Bruce Craven, who passed away after a fight against cancer.
The effort is in aid of Myfanwy Townsend Melanoma Research Fund, which raises awareness and funds research into finding a cure for melanoma. For further information visit: www.melanoma.co.uk.
