Marcelo Bielsa: All results are possible

Head coach on Stoke City.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship clash with Stoke City.

It is a top versus bottom of the table clash after four games, with Leeds unbeaten and the Potters yet to win.

Bielsa is expecting another difficult match, despite the difference in league positions at the early stage in the season.

“The distance between the teams in the table, you know it’s never really real,” said Bielsa.

“In the Championship everybody knows all results are possible, so for us it will be a hard like all the games in the future.

“It’s obvious that they have very good players in the squad.

“It’s impossible to prepare differently for one match when you play Wednesday and Saturday and we have been focusing on recovery of the team.”

Bielsa also gave an update on team news, with a number of doubts for the trip in the United defence.

He said: “Jamie Shackleton may come in for Stuart Dallas and Gaetano Berardi may come in for Liam Cooper.

“I think they could play tomorrow, but as always I tell you all the things we know each day.

“Stuart Dallas and Liam Cooper rest today to try and recover in time, Cooper has a kick on the ankle and Dallas has a problem with a muscle, but hopefully they will play.”
