Salford City’s ground, the Peninsula Stadium has been completely overhauled in recent years following new ownership and the club’s rise through the divisions. Four brand new stands have been built to give the ground a new look.

 

Capacity

The Peninsula Stadium has a capacity of 5,106 with 2,240 of those being seated areas. The record attendance at the stadium is 4,200 for a friendly match against the ‘Class of 92’ in November 2017.

 

Away End

Leeds United have received an allocation of approximately 1,400 tickets for this fixture. Away fans are housed in the East Terrace. The away end is all terracing and there are no seats in this stand.

 

Distance from Elland Road

39 miles- This game ranks fourth nearest in the fixture list with only Huddersfield Town, Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday closer.

 

Travel

Manchester Victoria is the nearest train station for fans, however it is still three miles away. The easiest route is to get a taxi from the station and allow up to 25 minutes for the journey. For fans travelling by car there is no official away parking, but there is some street parking on Moor Lane and other streets a short walk away from Moor Lane.

Last season Salford averaged 2,489 in their promotion winning season. They had a total of 57,257 fans through the gate.
