Team news

There are no fresh injury concerns for Leeds however the Whites are still without injured duo Luke Ayling and Tyler Roberts.  New signings Illan Meslier and Eddie Nketiah could be handed debuts in the match.  Salford captain Liam Hogan is doubtful, after missing the first two games of the season with injury.

The key battle

Helder Costa v Carl Piergianni

New summer signing Helder Costa could start his first game in a Leeds shirt. Costa has made two substitute appearances so far and the tricky winger will be looking to cause problems in the Salford defence. Carl Piergianni will be the main man trying to stop Costa in his tracks.
