United’s on loan defender Charlie Taylor was one of Fleetwood Town’s Wembley heroes on Monday as the League Two side won promotion.

Graham Alexander’s men beat Burton Albion in the Play-Off showdown and booked their place in League One for the first time in their history.

The tie was settled by Antoni Sarcevic’s free-kick in the second half, Burton pushed for the equaliser but Taylor and his defensive colleagues kept them at bay.

The Wembley showpiece was Charlie’s 42nd and final appearance for Fleetwood and the defender will now return to United with a promotion to his name.
