Paul Evans will leave his role as masseur at Leeds United this weekend after deciding to pursue a new career opportunity.

Former Brentford midfielder Evans has been an important member of the backroom staff at Thorp Arch for six years and he will be missed by everyone connected with the club.

Captain Liam Cooper said: “Not only has Evo been incredibly professional and helped us all over the years, but he’s also been a good friend to all of the players and staff at the club - whilst we will miss him, we respect his decision and wish him all the best for the future.”

Everyone at Leeds United joins Liam in wishing Paul every success in the future, he will always be welcome at Elland Road.
