Club President meets the first team…
Leeds United owner and club President Massimo Cellino met all the first team playing staff on Monday afternoon.
The President met all the players on a one-to-one basis and has spoken of the respect shown on all fronts.
The contents of all the meetings will remain private.
“I met all the players on Monday and they showed me that they wanted to stay at the club,” said Massimo. “They work for the club, not Massimo Cellino.
“They showed me respect and a have a fantastic professionalism towards the club.
“We have a better team than we first thought.
“All the players are hungry to be involved in this new project at Leeds United.”
All first team playing staff will return for pre-season training on June 26.
The club’s pre-season schedule will commence in Santa Cristina, Val Gardena in Italy; more details to follow once dates are confirmed.
