Information about Pride Park.

Pride Park is a relatively new stadium in comparison with the rest of the Football League.  It was opened in 1997 after they moved from the Baseball Ground, which was their home for over 100 years.

 

Capacity

The official capacity of Pride Park stands at 33,597 and is one of the largest in the Championship. The record attendance at the stadium, was the full capacity of 33,597 for an England v Mexico game in a friendly in 25th May 2001.  Derby’s record attendance at a game is 33,475, when they faced Glasgow Rangers in a friendly on 1st May 2006.

 

Away End

The away fans are located between the South East Corner of Pride Park, which houses a maximum of 2,800 fans, which is our allocation for Saturday’s game. The views from the away end are good and the stand is fairly close to the pitch.

 

Travel

Pride Park is approximately 10 minutes away from Derby Train Station and is easy to get to with sign-posted directions all the way. For fans travelling by car there are numerous car park within the vicinity of Pride Park. The cost of parking is £8 per car, or £6 if the car has four or more people in it.

 

Home Fans

Derby County are averaging 26,850 and are fourth in the average home attendances in the Sky Bet Championship this season.
