Griffin Park is the second smallest ground in the Championship and is a very compact stadium.  Two stands in the ground are terraced, including the away end. Brentford are famous for being the only ground in England that has a pub at every corner.

Capacity

Brentford’s Griffin Park only holds 12,763 and Brentford are hoping to move to a new stadium for the start of the 2020/21 season.  Lionel Road will be Brentford’s new home and will increase the capacity to 17,250.

Away End

The away end at Griffin Park is very unique. It is two-tiered with the upper tier being seated and the lower tier being terraced.  It is one of the only grounds in the Championship with a terraced section. The away end is situated in the Brook Road Stand and has 600 seats in its upper tier and a capacity of around 1,000 fans below on the terrace.

Travel

For train users Brentford’s railway station is around a five minute walk away from Griffin Park. This station is regularly served by trains from London Waterloo. For fans opting for the tube, the nearest tube station to the ground is South Ealing, which is on the Piccadilly Line. This is about a 15 minute walk from the stadium.  There is no parking for supporters at the ground.
