Preview: Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday

Preview: Leeds United v Sheffield Wednesday

We analyse Saturday's clash.

Leeds United's promotion fate is back in the hands of Marcelo Bielsa's side, after regaining second spot in the Sky Bet Championship with victory over Preston North End on Tuesday and Sheffield United dropping points the following day.  The Whites now know that if they win all five games remaining, a Premier League place beckons.  However, they face a tough test against Sheffield United's city rivals Sheffield Wednesday, who have been in fine form of late since the appointment of Steve Bruce and still have an outside chance of making the Play-Offs, after a fine 3-0 victory against Nottingham Forest in midweek.

The key battle

Patrick Bamford v Tom Lees

Defender Lees is a player Leeds fans know all too well, after coming through the ranks at Thorp Arch.  Bamford was back in goal scoring form on Tuesday and will be looking to add to his tally against the Owls, with defender Lees looking to stop him.
