Lee Peltier to leave club…

Lee Peltier has parted company with Leeds United.

The club have terminated the defender’s contract by mutual consent and he is now free to find an alternative club.

The former United captain, who had one year remaining on his contract, made a total of 73 appearances for the club, scoring one goal which came at Blackpool on Boxing Day 2013 in a 1-1 draw.

The defender spent the final two months of the 2013/14 season on loan at Nottingham Forest where he made seven appearances for the Midland club.

Lee’s final appearance for United came at Elland Road in a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Bolton Wanderers.

The club would like to wish Lee all the best for the future.
