MARCELO BIELSA: WITHOUT THE SUPPORT WE WOULDN’T BE THE TEAM WE ARE

Head coach on West Bromwich Albion.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Friday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with West Bromwich Albion.

The Whites are looking to get back to winning ways, following the 1-0 defeat at Queens Park Rangers in midweek.

Bielsa spoke about the strengths of Friday’s opponents, who sit just four points below the Whites and the importance of the game.

“After the loss against Queens Park Rangers the fact that we are playing right after against West Brom, it doesn’t make it a difficulty, it makes it a stimulation.

“West Bromwich are another kind of opponent, it is an opponent that will play against us and this rival has the same conditions as us.

“West Bromwich's main skills are the quantity and quality of the offensive players.

“All of the games are important, this one as well and the fans have always come to the stadium.

“For us each game has a capital importance and the fans always have a positive impact in the performance of the team.

“The value of that is that what we do has an impact on their emotions and we always receive a positive response when we make effort and we felt followed by the fans when we faced adversity.

“Without their support of the fans we wouldn’t be the team we are.”
