Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media following Saturday’s 2-1 victory over Bolton Wanderers.

Goals from Patrick Bamford and Ezgjan Alioski saw the Whites keep up their Sky Bet Championship promotion charge.

Bielsa thought there were both positives and negatives with the victory.

“It was a game similar to other games we have played so far,” said Bielsa.

“We had chances to score and we didn’t score goals and we suffered at set-pieces and I think this was the axis of the game.

“It was a team who fought a lot, the dangerous actions created by the opponent were on set-pieces especially, which has happened many times before in the Championship.

“There’s a difference on the matter of how we played the last minutes of the game, compared to the other game we played against Swansea where we one by just one goal of difference.

“We showed a little bit more maturity in the last minutes, in the last seconds.

“When you win the previous game it always helps to win the next game.

“As we won today we are in good conditions to play the next game.”
