MARCELO BIELSA FIVE KEY PRESS CONFERENCE POINTS

MARCELO BIELSA FIVE KEY PRESS CONFERENCE POINTS

Five key quotes ahead of Bolton Wanderers.

Following Marcelo Bielsa's press conference ahead of Saturday's clash with Bolton Wanderers, we look at five key points made by the Leeds United head coach.

Leeds

On there being an expectancy to win against Bolton Wanderers...

“I think there is an expectancy due to the fact Norwich City won 4-0 against Bolton Wanderers.  We are focused on winning, that is our first goal, we are then focused on deserving to win and we will try to get the most important difference possible.”

On his team against Bolton Wanderers

“This will be the starting 11: Kiko Casilla, Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper, Ezgjan Alioski, Kalvin Phillips, Mateusz Klich, Tyler Roberts, Pablo Hernandez, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison.”

On injury updates...
“Barry Douglas will play on Friday with the Under-23s, which is his final step to getting back to the group if everything goes well.  Gaetano Beradi will need more competition and he will play on Friday.  It is not the case with Adam Forshaw, because of his injury he will need more time.  It will be hard for him to come back in the next two games and it will be the same thing for Kemar Roofe and Jack Clarke.  For Stuart Dallas it was a little less hard for him to recover his performance fitness and he will be in the group on Saturday.”

On being swamped for photos...

"I do it because in football the most important element are the people who love the shirt and the club. They're not asking for an autograph or photo of me. They're asking for a picture with the head coach of Leeds."

On being loved by supporters...

“The only thing that I can say, as a maximum goal we all have the aspiration to be loved, this is a common thing for all human beings.  When you have the privilege of playing every two weeks in front of 35,000 fans it is something you can only thank and give gratitude towards.”
