JACK HARRISON: IT WAS GREAT TO GET THE THREE POINTS

Winger on Swansea City win.

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison spoke to LUTV following the 2-1 victory against Swansea City at Elland Road.

Harrison netted his second goal in three games on home soil, with a first half glancing header.

The winger, on loan from Manchester City, was delighted to get the three points and find the back of the net.

“We knew it was important going into this game and we knew we had to show up,” said Harrison.

“We started off really well, towards the end of the game we could have managed it a little bit better, but that is something we can improve on, but it was great to get the three points.

“If we want to be the top team and get promoted and finish first, these are the little details we need to focus on and to look at.

“I was thrilled to get a goal, we’ve worked on ways I can contribute to crosses from Gjanni in wide positions and that was one of the movements we’ve worked on.

“It was a great ball and I got the flick on and it was in the back of the net.

“We’re going to have a few days off to rest up and recover well now and we will come back next week and make sure we are well prepared and ready for the next game.

“We can’t focus on what is going on around the league, we have to control what we can control and take it game by game, it’s important not to get too far ahead of ourselves.”
