PREVIEW: LEEDS UNITED V NORWICH CITY

PREVIEW: LEEDS UNITED V NORWICH CITY

We analyse Saturday's fixture.

Leeds United welcome Norwich City to Elland Road on Saturday evening in the Sky Bet Championship top of the table clash.  A victory for Leeds would pull the Whites six points clear of second placed Norwich, with 16 games left to play.  The Whites ran out 3-0 winners at Carrow Road at the end of August, which left the Canaries in 18th place at the time, but Norwich have since surged up the table and are unbeaten in their last 12 Championship away matches.

Team news

Leeds have no new injury news, but Marcelo Bielsa has confirmed two changes from the side which beat Rotherham United, with Pontus Jansson and Tyler Roberts set to start in the places of Jack Clarke and Kalvin Phillips.  New Norwich signing Philip Heise could be involved, but Louis Thompson, Calton Morris, Alex Terry, Moritz Leitner and Timm Klose are out.

The key battle

Pablo Hernandez v Max Aarons

Full back Aarons has been one of the standout players for Norwich this season, despite being just 19-years-old and has scored two goals and provided four assists.  He will have his work cut out though, when he lines up against Hernandez who has been in fine form throughout the campaign for the Whites and was on the score-sheet at Carrow Road.
