MARCELO BIELSA: I’M HAPPY ABOUT THE FOUR WINS IN A ROW

Head coach on Bolton Wanderers trip.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s trip to Bolton Wanderers.

The Whites are looking for a fifth straight Sky Bet Championship win, with a victory at the University of Bolton Stadium.

A win could send Leeds to the top of the division and Bielsa spoke about the recent form of his side

“The only thing I can do is be happy about the four wins in a row,” said Bielsa.

“If you take the teams and link the different results, you will see that there will be ups and downs for each team.

“When you win the previous game, you take the next game in better conditions, but you don’t have any guarantees.

“Sometimes when you have positive cycles, you can become more relaxed and when you relax you are weaker.

Bielsa also spoke about the upcoming festive period and with the games coming thick and fast, was asked if he expects to rotate his squad a lot over the coming weeks.

“We will have to see how the players assimilate the number of games they play in this short time.

“We also have to take into account and see if it affects the physical and football performance of the players.

“As well as this, we have to take into account the possibility of injuries, because when you play so many games in such a short time, it increases the risk of injuries.

“The head coach of Middlesbrough, Tony Pulis, a man with a lot of experience, told me that December is a crucial month for the Championship.

“So we are trying to adapt to find good solutions for this moment of the competition.

“I haven’t decided the starting 11 for Bolton yet.”
