How determined are you all to bounce back from the West Brom defeat on Saturday?

“We’re coming up against a good team in Bristol City, we’ve talked a lot this week and worked a lot on the training pitch.  We need to keep calm and not change too much.  We know what we have to do on the pitch, we know our style and spirit and we’ve shown on the pitch in most of the games that we can beat every opponent.  This is the way, this is our mentality and we are at home in front of our fans which is the motivation for us.”

General admission tickets for Saturday’s game sold out over a week in advance.  Despite the result last time out, what does it mean having that backing with everyone is still behind you?

“It is unbelievable, the Leeds fans are really unbelievable.  If the fans believe in this team and that we can come back with a win on Saturday after the defeat, then the players have to believe too.  The fans will be with us, they want to support us in every game and we need to respond on the pitch by giving 100 per cent for ourselves and for them.”

Finally, you’ve spoken about your form, what is it like, particularly away from home, seeing their reaction when you’ve put the ball in the back of the net?

“Again, it is just unbelievable.  It is not just at home, but as you say, in all the different cities and stadiums.  When I’m warming up and you see the away stand full of Leeds fans it is a special feeling.  I watch a lot of games in this league and we can say we have the best fans in the league.”
