MARCELO BIELSA: BLACKBURN ARE AN OPPONENT WITH EXPERIENCE

Head coach on Blackburn Rovers.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Blackburn Rovers.

The Whites travel to Ewood Park knowing a win could take Leeds back to the top of the table.

Bielsa spoke about what has happened over the international break, which players will be available for the trip and what he expects from Blackburn.

“We had a group of players who needed to get some rest, the other group needed the opposite thing and the third group were the international players which we now have back with us,” said Bielsa.

“Gaetano Berardi, Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe will all be available for Saturday’s game.

“We also have some players who will miss the game though, Luke Ayling, Barry Douglas and Jack Harrison are unavailable.

“Jack has a muscular injury, it is not a serious injury because he will be back with us next week, but it will prevent him from playing in the next two games.

“We always seem to have an average of four or five players missing, but the three players coming back are important for us.

“Blackburn are an opponent with experience and it won’t be easy to play against them.

“They have a good balance between individual skills and being competitive.”
