INTERNATIONAL: OCTOBER 2018 CALL-UPS

Whites stars to feature on international stage.

A number of Leeds United players have been selected for international duty, with games set to take place this weekend.

Goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell and winger Stuart Dallas have linked up with Northern Ireland.  Michael O’Neill’s side have two away UEFA Nations League matches.  They take on Austria on Friday 12th October (19:45 BST) at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna and Bosnia & Herzegovina on Monday 15th October (19:45 BST) at Grbavica Stadium in Sarajevo.

After earning a first cap for Wales in the last international break, Tyler Roberts has again been included in Ryan Giggs’ squad for their upcoming games.  Wales take on Spain in a friendly at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on Thursday 11th October (19:45pm BST), before travelling to Dublin to take on the Republic of Ireland at the Aviva Stadium on Tuesday 16th October (19:45pm BST) in the UEFA Nations League.

Mateusz Klich is again included in the Poland squad after impressing for the Whites and netting for his country in the last international break.  Poland take on Portugal on Thursday 11th October (19:45pm BST) and Italy on Sunday 14th October (19:45pm) with both games in the UEFA Nations League at the Stadion Śląski in Chorzów.

Ezgjan Alioski has been called upon by Macedonia for their two UEFA Nations League matches.  Macedonia take on Lichtenstein on home soil at the Philip II Arena on Saturday 13th October (19:45pm BST).  They then have an away trip to Armenia on Tuesday 16th October at the Hanrapetakan Stadium (5:00pm BST).

At youth level, Aapo Halme has linked up with Finland’s Under-21s, Tom Pearce has been named in the England Under-20s squad,  Kun Temenuzhkov has been called up by Bulgaria’s Under-19s and Niklas Haugland Edris by Norway’s Under-17s.
