Leeds United winger Ezgjan Alioski spoke to LUTV following Saturday’s victory at Norwich City.

Goals from Mateusz Klich, Alioski and Pablo Hernandez secured Leeds a fine 3-0 victory at Carrow Road, as the Whites kept up their unbeaten start to the season.

The win saw Leeds go back to the top of the table and Alioski spoke about the victory and why he feels the side are doing so well.

“We didn’t start very well and with how Norwich started, we felt it was going to be a difficult game,” said Alioski.

“We tried to play how we wanted though and when we scored the goal, we made things difficult.

“With what we are doing in training, we can always do it in the game and it is nice to play, when you are on the pitch you are happy, because we are playing very nice football.

“We are the same players from last season, there haven’t been many changes to the starting 11 and the coach has bought another mentality and philosophy.

“The training that we do is really hard, but to be successful, we need to work hard and this is what we have been doing.

“We were never at home in pre-season, it was hard work, but we wanted to have a good start and play well.

“We are top of the league, it is still really early though, but we are enjoying it and looking forward to the challenge against Middlesbrough, first versus second and this is a challenge we want to win, so we can stay at the top after.”
