MARCELO BIELSA: SWANSEA KNOW HOW TO BULD FROM THE BACK

Head coach on Swansea City.

Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa spoke to the media ahead of Tuesday’s long Sky Bet Championship trip against Swansea City.

The Whites travel to South Wales looking for a fifth successive victory in all competitions, after a perfect start to the 2018/19 campaign.

Despite Leeds’ form, Bielsa is expecting the visit to the Liberty Stadium to be a tough test.

“This competition has different kinds of difficulties and you have to face each difficulty,” said Bielsa.

“The first game we played was a team similar to Swansea City- but we played at home, the second game was against a team which belongs to the top six and the third game was versus a team who just got promoted from League One, but all of the games were difficult.

“Every game was very demanding and I imagine it will be the same against Swansea on Tuesday.

“Graham Potter is a young English manager and has a lot of new ideas.

“Swansea take care with how they move the ball, the players of Swansea know how to build from the back and their goalkeeper and defenders do this.

“For me this is the main feature you can underline, but they also have different possibilities, they have a real number nine and substitutes who can make an impact.

“It is always important to have good results, especially at the beginning of the season, where you have build confidence and the period where you assimilate the style.”
