MARCELO BIELSA PRESS CONFERENCE FIVE KEY POINTS

Five key quotes ahead of Derby County.

Following Marcelo Bielsa's press conference ahead of Saturday’s Sky Bet Championship fixture with Derby County, we look at five key points made by the head coach...

On team news…

“If everything goes well, we will play the same team, we won’t be able to use Stuart Dallas though because he has picked up an injury.  Dallas is a very important player for us because he can play on both sides at different levels.  The fact he won’t be with us for a while is something that we regret.  I can’t be precise with how long he will be out of the team but I will ask the medical staff to keep you updated.”

On Pontus Jansson…

“He is improving everyday and is getting closer to his best fitness condition.”

On the size of the squad…

“Usually I like to have two players for each position.  Of the group of 22 players, I like 18 players to have the same level.  I then like to have four youngsters that can improve their level to become players of the first team.”

On not celebrating goals…

“In any case, what you celebrate is the victory, rather than the goals you score.  As a head coach, I think I should celebrate privately, not publically.  I think the ones who should celebrate publically are the players and the fans.”

On his bucket seat getting a lot of attention…

“I am surprised that people talk about this.”
