JAMAL BLACKMAN: I’M LOOKING FORWARD TO PLAYING HERE

Leeds United stopper Jamal Blackman spoke exclusively to LUTV after signing for the club on a season-long loan.
The 24-year-old has arrived from Premier League side Chelsea and will now fight with Bailey Peacock-Farrell for the number one shirt at Elland Road.
With the season now under three weeks away from beginning, Blackman can’t wait for it to get underway.
“I’m really happy to sign, I’m really looking forward to it, it is going to be a good season and hopefully there are big things to come from this club,” said Blackman.
“Speaking with the manager and staff and coming up from Chelsea, everyone felt it was a good step for me in the right direction and I want to show what I can do on the big stages.
“I was fortunate to play in the Championship with Sheffield United last season and play in such big games, they were great there and I learnt so much.
“Leeds has a really big fan base and I’m looking forward to playing here and hopefully the fans will get behind us and push us forwards.
“I’ve heard a lot of things about Marcelo Bielsa, a lot of people talk very highly about him and I’m sure I will learn a lot, which will help me in my career.
“I want to bring all of my attributes here, I want to play as many games as possible and push and get the team as high as possible.”
