RIP LIAM MILLER

RIP LIAM MILLER

Former midfielder loses battle.

Everyone at Leeds United is saddened to hear of the death of former midfielder Liam Miller, at the age of 36 after a battle with cancer.

Miller spent time on loan at Leeds during the 2005/06 season, making 33 appearances for the club.

He scored one goal during his time with the Whites, which is remembered fondly by all Leeds supporters, the winner as United battled back from 3-0 down, to record a memorable 4-3 victory over Southampton at St Mary's in November 2005.

Miller came through the ranks at Celtic and went on to play for clubs including Manchester United, Sunderland, Queens Park Rangers and Hibernian.

He also won 21 caps for the Republic of Ireland.

Our thoughts are with Liam's family and friends at this difficult time.

RIP Liam.
