STUART DALLAS: WE WILL KEEP FIGHTING

Winger on Hull City draw.

Leeds United winger Stuart Dallas spoke to LUTV following Tuesday’s Sky Bet Championship draw with Hull City.

The Whites ended a run of three successive losses by picking up a point at the KCOM Stadium.

Dallas admitted the side could have played better, but took the positives from the outcome.

“In the end we have to be happy with a point,” said Dallas.

“No matter where you go, away from home in the Championship, a point is a good result.

“We know our performance wasn’t great, but I know we will play better than that this season and come away with nothing.

“We had to stop the losing run and if you can’t win the game, you have to make sure you don’t get beat.

“We rode our luck at times during the game, but we are missing a lot of key players, we are digging deep and everyone is giving everything on the pitch.

“I thought we showed a lot of courage, we have a real togetherness in the changing room, we will keep fighting and we will keep going and take it as a positive result.

“If we go now and win on Saturday, four points from the two games is exactly what you need to do in the Championship.

“Cardiff turned us over at their place and beat us comfortably and we know what to expect, it is going to be a physical task.

“We have to stand up and be counted, I think a lot of people are asking a lot of questions of us as a squad, but we will stick together and keep going.”
