An inspired performance from goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald ensured a share of the spoils in goalless game at the KCOM Stadium.

Leeds United made two changes from the starting line up from the side that started against Millwall, with Conor Shaughnessy coming in for the suspended Liam Cooper, whilst Adam Forshaw made his debut.

Hull had the first chance of the game in the second minute when Fraizer Campbell disposed Conor Shaughnessy and went clean through on goal, but his shot missed the far post.

Leeds were then forced into an early change with Stuart Dallas replacing the injured Shaughnessy.

It was the hosts who then threatened twice in two minutes, first Jarrod Bowen’s shot from range was held by Wiedwald before the German got down excellently to palm Dicko’s half valley out for a corner.

Jackson Irvine was next to test Wiedwald, but again the Leeds goalkeeper did well to deny him at the near post to keep the scores level.

Leeds were next to invite pressure, this time Pablo Hernandez saw his shot deflected wide for a corner.

It was Wiedlwald to rescue once again before the break after Bowen skipped through some challenges, but the German denied him once again this time with his legs at his near post.

Half Time: Hull City 0-0 Leeds United

Hull missed a golden chance to open the scoring when Kamil Grosicki found Nouha Dicko inside the six yard box but the Hull number nine could only fire over.

Grosicki then had another chance for the Tigers but his shot was easy for Wiedwald to stop.

Leeds had half a chance when Pierre-Michel Lasogga teed up Pablo Hernandez on the edge of the box but he could only fire wide.

Leeds then had their best chance of the match on 71 minutes when Pierre-Michel Lasogga crated space for himself on the edge of the box, but his curling shot went just  inches wide.

Leeds then created a chance for Alioski when Berardi headed down a Hernandez free kick, but the Macedonian mis-kicked his shot.

It was Alioski again who had the Whites next shot on goal but his volley was just too high aLeeds: nd Wiedwlad the hero of the game again late on, saving brilliantly to deny Campbell a certain goal as the two sides shared a point.
