THOMAS CHSITIANSEN: IT IS NICE TO BE BACK AT HOME

Head coach on Millwall clash.

Leeds United head coach Thomas Christiansen is looking forward to getting back on home soil this Saturday.

The Whites take on Millwall on Saturday at Elland Road, looking to extend their unbeaten run at home to six games.

It marks the first home game since the New Year’s Day draw with Nottingham Forest and Christiansen is hoping to get back to winning ways.

“We have had some good sessions, we have prepared for the game in the best way possible and I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s match,” said Christiansen.

“It is nice to be back at home with our fans supporting the team and I expect a good game.

“All of the games are difficult, there are no easy matches and tomorrow we will have to perform at our best to take a positive result.

“I expect the game to be similar to when we played Millwall in the first round, they are a hard, physical and strong team and will play directly to their two strikers, but we need to play our game to open up the spaces and attack a lot.

“Laurens De Bock and Ronaldo Vieira will both be in the squad, injury wise, we only have Caleb Ekuban out.”

The United head coach also spoke about new signing Adam Forshaw, who moved to Leeds in a deal worth £4.5m on Thursday.

He said: “Adam is a player with Premier League experience, he is a good player, who has a good character.

“It is important when you sign a player, that he is not only good on the pitch, but also away from it.

“Adam will not be ready for the game on Saturday, but we hope to have him for the match after.”
