WHITES LOAN REPORT 09/01/18

We keep tabs on our loan men.

A number of Leeds United players have been in action for their respective loan clubs over the Emirates FA Cup Third Round weekend, we find out how they got on…

Marcus Antonsson

The striker was again missing for Blackburn Rovers, after he picked up an ankle injury in the final game of 2017.  Blackburn went down 1-0 in the Third Round to Hull City at Ewood Park, with Ola Aina netting the winner.

Lewie Coyle

Coyle played 90 minutes as Fleetwood Town forced Premier League side Leicester City into a replay.  The Cod Army drew 0-0 with the Foxes at Highbury Stadium and will now travel to the King Power Stadium next week.

Luke Murphy

The midfielder featured for Burton Albion in their 1-0 loss at Birmingham City.  Murphy played 86 minutes at St Andrew’s, but couldn’t prevent the Brewers from exiting the FA Cup at the Third Round Stage.

Whites duo Tyler Denton and Mallik Wilks have now returned to Leeds following loan spells with Port Vale and Accrington Stanley respectively.  Denton’s spell at Vale Park was cut short due to family reasons, whilst Wilks’ temporary spell at the Wham Stadium came to an end at the beginning of January.
